Waggy World isn't a franchise. It isn't a kennel that expanded into daycare. It was built from scratch by a dog mom who spent years watching her own dogs — Nina and Jax — teach her everything she needed to know.
Dogs need structure. They need a pack. They need someone who pays attention. When Vallery couldn't find a facility in Waldorf that checked all those boxes, she built one herself — starting on Rover in 2017 and growing Waggy World into a fully licensed, IBPSA-certified facility serving Waldorf, MD.
Today, every dog that walks through our doors gets what Nina and Jax got: small-group care, enrichment built into every day, and a team that genuinely loves what they do.

My dogs Nina and Jax didn't just inspire Waggy World. They taught me how to run it.
Watching them as young pups — the way structure calmed them, the way socialization shaped them, the way being part of a pack made them better — laid the foundation for everything Waggy World stands for today.
I started dog sitting in 2017 through Rover because I wanted to give other dogs what mine had. What I discovered was that most owners were settling — dropping their dogs somewhere and hoping for the best. I knew there was a better way.
In 2019, Waggy World officially opened. Today, we're a fully licensed, IBPSA-certified facility — and I'm still here every day, doing the work I love, treating every dog like they're part of my pack. Because they are.
