Spooky season is here! Make sure your pup is protected from the real creepers — fleas and ticks! Although it is getting chillier outside, fall is a critical time to focus on flea and tick prevention! Fleas and ticks can become more active during colder weather as they are seeking a warm-blooded host. Many species are active even after the first frost! Check out these helpful tips:

Speak to your vet to find the most appropriate and effective prevention product for your dog. This may include a topical treatment, collars, shampoos, etc.

Regular inspections. After your dog has been outside, it's important to check them and yourself for fleas and ticks. Overlooked areas that are important to check include: paw pads, under the legs, lips, around eyes and ears, inside ears, and under their collar. Fleas tend to hide in areas that possess thin fur: armpits, belly, thighs, etc.

Invest in an outdoor dog bed. Having a comfy spot for your dog to lay off the ground is a great alternative for them laying in the grass!

Keep your grass mowed as short as possible, remove leaf litter and brush from your yard.

If an infestation occurs, extermination may be needed.

If your dog needs treatment- so does your home! Be sure to wash all bedding , clean sofas and carpets. Make sure to empty the vacuum outdoors!

Boarding Services

Drop Off / Pick Up Times (BOARDING):

MONDAY - FRIDAY DROP OFF: As early as 7AM - 8:30AM. (Before 7AM Drop Off Fee Applies)
MONDAY - FRIDAY BOARDING PICK UP: Between 10AM - 11:30AM on pick up day.
- Drop Off and Pick Ups are NOT available on Sundays.
SATURDAY BOARDING DROP OFF: Between 8AM - 9AM
SATURDAY BOARDING PICK UP: Between 10:00AM - 11:00AM

Drop Off / Pick Up Times (DAYCARE):

MONDAY - FRIDAY DROP OFF: As early as 7AM - 8:30AM. (Before 7AM- Drop Early Off Fee Applies)
MONDAY - FRIDAY PICK UP: Beginning at 4:00PM and no later than 6PM. (After 6PM- Late Fee Applies)
No Daycare on Federal Holidays unless requested and Holiday Rate Applies.

Daycare Services

Pet Training

Basic commands are used consistently throughout the day to reinforce or to introduce training, if needed. Some Enrichment and Agility provided as well.

No Charge

Vaccinations: All dogs must be current on Vaccinations. If your baby attends Daycare with us, have their vaccinations updated PRIOR to expiration. Reminder notifications are sent in advance. Notify our staff of any scheduled vet appointments so that we can note your account.

Repeat Client Discount: Clients who have had service with us 3 times or more automatically get a repeat client discount of 5% during peak season (July 1st- Sept 30th) for Boarding Reservations ONLY. Multiple discounts are not allowed during this time. So, get your reservations in early, as space is limited. The repeat client discount is our way of saying Thank You as we understand that affordable pricing, along with the quality of service, helps you have stress free vacation!

Board and Train Service

We offer Board and Training services to those clients who need extra help with their new puppy. Our preference is dogs under 1 year old. Your dog will board with us for a minimum of 2 weeks to get the training they need to set them up for success with their obedience and socialization skills with other dogs. We provide an approach based upon consistency, structure and exercise, along with proper command training. As a Pet Parent, you'll receive progress reports to include pictures and videos to demonstrate the training you'll want to continue with your pup once training is complete with us. You will also gain access to being a part of our Waggy World Family for any future services you may need. Whether Boarding or Daycare, we're here for you and your new pup!
