How We Partner with Our Pet Parents

In order to effectively care for your furry friends, we must have a connection with you, the Pet Parent!  At Waggy World, we put emphasis on Pet Parent communication, ensuring that you are always informed and actively involved while your pup is in our care.  Our staff is trained and educated to recognize breed specific characteristics and illnesses.  If we see something, we say something... always keeping you in the know.  The Daycare Program provides structure that can carry over to our Pet Parent's home life.  Our clients rave over the difference and impact our Daycare structure has made in their home life!  We work with our clients and share our insight in numerous areas from crate training, to dealing with separation anxiety.

We are here to help!

3rd Annual 2023 Wag-O-Ween Event

QUARTERLY NEWSLETTER!.

It's getting hot in here🥵! Summer time is here and if you have more time to spend with your dogs, what better way to spend time with them than being outside! Here are some ways to keep pups cool in this heat:

1. Stay Hydrated!

2. Keep up with weather! Dogs are fine in temperatures up to 68 degrees.

3. Cool Treats!

4. Cool Cloth! Having your dog lay or stand on top of a cool towel can help them release heat.

5. Alcohol! Using Rubbing Alcohol, dab a little behind a dog's ears, on their bellies or on their paw pads in order to draw out heat.

MEET CHASE!

3-Year-Old Yorkie
DOB: November 22nd
Zodiac: Sagittarius
Started Daycare with us in May 2022
As Chase has aged, he has become a grumpy old man and our fun police, controlling the dogs who are having too much fun! But, he's still the #1 Ladies Man!

Osteoarthritis

During the same time Jax was diagnosed with Hypercalcemia, we begin to notice him limping a lot on his front leg (not sure if associated with the Hypercalcemia). Yes, he is a big boy and trying to get his weight down has been a struggle. Too much weight does put wear and tear on the joints. His Vet recommended a new injection, called Librela. He showed improvements INSTANTLY! He hasn't limped again since his first injection and now he's back in Zoomie mode (he still thinks he's fast too ..LOL)

MEET MILO!

He participated in our Board and Train last year. His mom said he had never been socialized nor trained and when she heard of our services, she came to us immediately! She was located out of state but was excited to have Milo stay with us. We had to start from scratch with this little guy. We would call him, and all he would do was twirl LOL!

When incorporated into our Daycare structure to socialize him with other dogs, all he could think to do was hump. By the end of his training, he was following commands, sit, stay and come with ease. He now comes running when his name was called, and he finally made a few friends to wrestle with. It took a while for us to get through to him, but with patience and encouragement, Milo left with more manners than when he came in!
